Fall Registration begins August 1st 2010 Fall registration for Hockey Tots, Pre-Mites and House League begins August 1st. The forms are currently on the website under downloads. The registration along with full or half payment (please follow payment restrictions) can be mailed, dropped off or faxed to West Meadows front office.All skaters in Mite through Midget age groups must have a USA Hockey insurance form included with their registration. A link to purchase your mandatory player insurance is located on the side bar of the website.
For more specific information regarding the Mite House for both Major and Minor click on the Mite section to the left.

Wolves Pre-Season game at West Meadows

West Meadows Ice Arena will be the site of one of the Wolves Pre-Season games again. September 29th 7:00p
This year the Wolves will take on the Blackhawks affiliate the Rockford Icehogs!
Last time the Wolves played at West Meadows the game was sold out
PRE SALE START THURSDAY AUGSUT 26th 5:00p
To reserve tickets email pmattey@rmparks.org
include your name, amount of tickets, and phone number.
You will recieve a response letting you know that your tickets are reserved and when to come into West Meadows to pay for the tickets and pick them up.

Blackhawk fever puts kids on ice; parents need to chill
From preschoolers eagerly learning to take their first steps on skates to middle-aged "rink rats" fearlessly forgetting their last tumble, hockey has an icy grip on the suburbs. "It's 90 percent due to the Blackhawks and their marketing," says Bob Veller, director for the Rolling Meadows Renegades youth hockey program with the park district, where the West Meadows Ice Arena is busier than ever for hockey players from age 3 to Social Security.
The article was in the Daily Herald Saturday May 29th in time for the Stanley Cup Finals Game #1.

Hockey Tot Minor Hawks Program and Pre-Mites Summer Program
Our Minor Hawk Hockey Tot Program and Pre-Mites Summer session begins the week of August 1st. Classes will be held Mon-Saturday. Classes get started the week of September 20th.

There was an erro in the RMPD book reagrding the Wed HTOT class and Pre-Mite League. Class time should be 5:50p Sports Complex not 5:05p
**Class time change, the Wednesday 1:30 class time has had to be moved to 2:40-3:25p due to a conflict for Sept-Dec. The Jan-March class will be at the regualr scheduled time of 1:30-2:15
